Blake Kathryn is a digital artist.
Fusing vibrant palettes with ethereal undertones, Kathryn creates dreamlike experiences across various subject matter and forms of media—working fluidly across the pixel landscape. Her work includes influences of art deco x nouveau, retrofuturism, science fiction, and solar punk. An initial subconscious effort, her practice seeks to infuse the female gaze into the influences that inspire her—which are traditionally built upon masculine perspectives.
Prior to her digital art journey, Kathryn studied at the University of Florida graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design. Her early career focused in branding and iconography for the advertising, retail and tech industries.
Kathryn is based in Los Angeles, often found generating freckles in the glow of her desktop. Her commercial collaborations and personal works have been exhibited globally.
